I rap in many different styles I lean heavily on lyricism always trying to create great music people can vibe to, while also giving a message or telling some personal experiences.
I have done open mics locally and in NYC as I'm looking to break out more on to the scene.’,-shares Apollo.

ML&L - What was the breakthrough moment when you decided to start rapping?
Apollo - I remember this moment clear as day it was years ago I was 10 years old.
My brother is 5 years older than me so he was 15, he was writing way before me and after watching him record on our old school desktop it kinda inspired me.
I had a bad day one day and I decided I'm gonna do what my brother does which at the time was make music. I grabbed my school composition book and the rest is history.
ML&L - Why you choose name "Apollo"?
Apollo - I actually didn't choose the name Apollo it was given to me as a nickname.
But after doing some personal research on Apollo I found out he is actually considered the god of music, when I seen that I knew Apollo was the right name for me.
ML&L - Are there a lot of young music artists you admire?
Apollo - If I'm being honest not really, I have a different style than a lot of the young talent today. Not saying they aren't good at what they do,
I just choose a different route. Instead of mocking a Future, or Lil Uzi Vert, I have a more sophisticated style I've been told my sound is similar to
Big Sean there are moments when the Drake inspiration comes out on a song, I just put real experiences, beliefs,
and stories in my songs. I just don't need to mostly rap about pills and women to do that.

ML&L - What are your plans?
Apollo - My plans are to keep building my base and get my name out there by performances, radio interviews,
free music, and when I feel my base is big enough that's when I will start selling music creating full length studio albums,
and until then I'm looking to find a team maybe for management and or promotion. But once enough people hear my music and it blows up
I feel the train will roll from there I know I have a gift it just takes some exposure.
ML&L - What are some of the most played tracks on your mobile these days, can you give some recommendations?
Apollo - The most played tracks on my phone besides myself, would probably be from the likes of Drake, J Cole, Kendrick Lamar, Big Sean,
Schoolboy Q, Dave East, Joey Badass. But as far as particular songs I've been listening to Big Sean's "I Decided" Album heavy. Honestly my pick for album of the year I think he killed it.
Drake I like some of his new stuff but I like to go back with Drake, maybe the NWTS time period, Take Care,
dated stuff like that as I'm not the biggest fan of his recent stuff. J Cole I love the song "Neighbors" probably my favorite J Cole song. Kendrick I can listen
to old or new his body of work is incredible. Dave East is a huge inspiration for me these days I like his style and feel he is a young talent coming up that needs
more attention because I feel he is a real rapper not just a trapper/mumble rapper. Again not saying those rappers aren't good at what THEY do, I just feel there's levels to this.
