Nowadays DJ profession is well-known and respectable. DJing – Is It Easy or Difficult? How quickly can anyone learn how to properly reduce the tracks or how to get the good music ?
Having all the answers and more in interview with DJ QB and his view from point of “Music is the answer & Music defeats time”.

ML&L - Hello Branko, thank you for taking the time. Let's get started. Tell about yourself?
QB - My name is Branko Kujundzic, better known as DJ QB. I am in music more than 10 years. Lunatic, music addict, IT engineer, dreamer, someone who is trying to find own path.
ML&L - When did you start DJing and what or who were your early passions and influences?
QB - Well, I start to DJ a little bit late, when I was 18y. My early influences was a lot of electronic bands in that moments, music shows on radio, big DJ names in that moment.
I started to listen electronic music really early. I was buying empty cassette and trying to record some good music on my player.
ML&L - What music albums did you grow up listening to?
QB. - The Prodigy "The Fat of the Land" , Scooter "No Time To Chill" , Music Instructor "Best Of" , Indexi (Ex-Yu Rock Band).
ML&L - What was the first record/CD you ever bought and do you still listen to it?
QB - First CD I got as present from friends from UK when I was in Finland, and it was some sort of their music scene compilation. Sometimes, when I get that in my mind I play them on YouTube.
First CD what I bought was some radio hits compilation 2000 or 2001. I don't listen now, but it was great time and interesting music.
ML&L - If you could eternally be stuck in one year's music scene, which year would it be?
QB - Hmmm, tough question. Something like 1985 or somewhere in future.
ML&L - What are currently your main challenges as a DJ?
QB - To try to not be repetitive and trying to make great atmosphere in place where I am playing.

ML&L - Do you have a favorite concert?
QB - As attendee definitely was Faithless 2005 in Belgrade. It was really great.
Maxi Jazz has amazing energy and he has great contact with people.
ML&L - What event has been the most memorable for you? As a DJ? As an attendee?
QB - As a DJ is my playing in Belgrade Arena where I met some big names in music industry like Benny Benassi, David Morales, Robbie Rivera and some great people from my country.
ML&L - What is one track that never gets old for you no matter how many times you hear it?
QB - Faithless – Insomnia
ML&L - Describe your feelings when you play music?
QB - Joy, happiness, catharsis, connection with crowd, good vibration.
ML&L - Do you think this has hurt exclusivity of having a certain sound?
QB - Well, maybe.
ML&L - A DJ's ability to have a "unique" style? Is having your own style separate from all the other DJs out there even important in modern DJing?
QB - It's hard to create 100% unique style but you can always put some special spice in that, involving your music taste, knowledge, also knowing psychology of people who are visiting your show.
I think it's not most important thing in modern DJing but still have impact and it's good to have some own style.

ML&L - What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure on DJing?
QB - Playing music what I honestly don't like.
ML&L - Are you able to share any of your secret tricks?
QB - Yeah. Try to be consistent, try to learn every day, and work on your marketing and try to look on yourself as a brand. Remember, when you finish song and upload your song on SoundCloud and you think you did job, you didn't.
At that moment you did only half. Try to promote as best as you can. Send it to radio stations, share at social networks, send to DJ's, forums, blogs etc.

QB - Low frequency equalizer and cue.
ML&L - What is something that bugs you about the DJ scene?
QB - Well, a lot of ego, a lot of secret hate between people, lack of support and collaboration.
ML&L - What is one mistake you see a lot of up and coming DJs making?
QB - They think that everything will come overnight.
ML&L - What advice would you give to aspiring DJs?
QB - Work hard, dream and work on your skills and marketing.
M.L. - What are your immediate music career goals?
QB - To live from music, make big brand from my name and inspire people.
