ML&L - How did you get into music in the first place?

Omeezy - My mom was a singer, my dad was a manger. My homeboy Javon introduced me to music and recording in the studio when I was 14 and I never stopped since.

Omeezy - Snoop Dog “Tha Dogg Pound”, Biggie “Life After Death”, 2pac “Makaveli” ,Jay Z's “The Blueprint”.


ML&L - How and where did you write the songs?

Omeezy - I like to write songs in my bedroom or at the studio.


ML&L - What were your inspirations?

Omeezy - Life situations.

ML&L - What are the main themes or topics for most of your songs?

Omeezy - Most of my topics are about growing up in the inner city and suburbs along with relationships I'm very versatile.


ML&L - How does your process work?

Omeezy - My Music has to come from a real place.


ML&L -Do you start with the beat or with the lyrics?

Omeezy - I start with the beat, I been recording so long I don't need to write all the time, the lyrics come to me if the beat is dope.

Omeezy - Yes, I'm a fan of my music.

Omeezy - That I can be recognized for being one of the best to do it and leave a mark on the industry.

Omeezy - I like almost every genre of music except heavy metal, I can't understand it.

Omeezy - I listen to my own music most.

Omeezy - The feel of it and versatility I'm able to do most genre of music.

Omeezy - I feel there is too much copying styles and not enough originality.

Omeezy - I think of myself as an artist since I do so many different genres of music.

Omeezy - I always get great feedback on my music.


ML&L - What live performance experience have you had?

Omeezy - I'm always performing live. I remember when I first started performing and I did a show with only about 10 people in the crowd but I still gave it my all even there were only a few people and they loved my performance.


ML&L - What is the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure in the music industry?

Omeezy - People copying my style and jacking my swag signed and unsigned artist.


ML&L - What would you be doing if you weren't making music?

Omeezy - I really don't know, music has been apart of my life its one of the things I love doing most.


ML&L - What’s your motto or the advice you live by?

Omeezy - Be original when it comes to being creative and treat people how you want to be treated.

Omeezy - Be yourself don't try to be like everyone else.

Omeezy - I have big shows coming up in different states.
